SchoolCycle, an affordable and accessible classroom outreach program, was founded in June 2025 in partnership with the Delhi-based Samarpan Foundation. Fundamentally, the project revolves around an activity workbook meant for younger pupils. Through this tool, it educates them about the eco-friendly disposal of everyday household items and their reuse potential, developing early, hands-on knowledge of proper waste management.
Aiming to extend this effect, SchoolCycle employs a multi-pronged strategy. We have an original certification program with students to enable them to become "Climate Change Ambassadors" who promote sustainable practices in their own communities. This is additionally enhanced through a series of interviews with environmentalists, adding richer and varied expert opinions to our educational material. In addition, we work proactively with schools, surveying teachers and administrators to determine specific needs and guide initiatives towards creating environmentally friendly classroom spaces, thus giving both students and employees tangible, real-life examples of sustainability.
The ultimate goal is to, in tandem with the Samarpan Foundation, build an eco-friendly classroom made entirely of PET bottles filled with sand and compacted with concrete. This, with the aim of providing students not only with the tools to affect tangible conservation-focused change, but also to give them a dedicated space from which to do it.Â
